168 W. 133rd St. in Harlem was once the location of Pod and Jerry's speakeasy. Billie Holliday got a job singing there in 1932. The club was opened in 1928 in the basement of this brownstone. It was designed to look like a log cabin and was owned by Jerry Preston and Charles "Pod" Hollingsworth.
