Lee Child, author of the Jack Reacher series, introduced Jason Pinter and Dave White. He also edited the Killer Year anthology. A job he said was made very easy by the excellent quality of the submissions.

Killer Year is a collection of short stories from some of the hottest authors to debut in 2007. Joining them are three seasoned writers: Ken Bruen, Allison Brennan. and Duane Swierczynski. Duane had planned to be at this signing, but illness got in the way.

Jason Pinter is the author of The Mark, featuring 20-something journalist Henry Parker. His story in this anthology is titled "The Point Guard". His next book The Guilty will be released in March and continues the story of newspaper reporter Henry Parker.

Dave White's first Jackson Donne novel When One Man Dies is now available. His contribution to this anthology is called "Righteous Son". And if you know anything about Dave, you won't be surprised that the title is derived from the Rutgers College motto. Dave's next Jackson Donne book is called The Evil That Men Do
