She also writes a mystery series featuring Kentucky criminal justice professor Lizzie Stuart. Meredith's first novel, Poised for Murder, was the winner of the 2007 St. Martins Press/Malice Domestic Award. It will be published by St. Martin's Minotaur in February. Her protagonist is Lydia McKenzie and art photographer.

Reed Farrel Coleman is a well-known face to followers of this photo blog. He's one of my favorite authors and a lot of fun to photograph. The latest book in the Moe Praeger series, Empty Ever After, came out earlier this year.
